In the Barrel Aged Series, FoxTown Beer Crew wants to show how wood ageing can influence the flavour of a beer. Cask2023/15 is a Scotch Whisky Cask from the Fettercairn Distillery that held whisky since whisky in it since 2008. After it was bottled our Imperial Stout was laid to rest for 8 months on this cask, yielding fruity and fresh whisky aromas to our Stout.
